June slipped away, in all honesty. It’s almost as though this month was non-existent and we’re already in July. Halfway through the year. We’re still isolated a year later and I keep reminding myself that there is still hope. June was absolutely a blur. I know I say that so much, but I started out in a most terrible reading slump.
Nevertheless I did have a lot of fun and I kept up with the blogosphere (for the most part, I suppose!) I had my whole family over and the summer weather is absolutely gorgeous here. All the flowers are in bloom, we had, like 3 birthdays (which meant 3 different cakes, haha!) and we’ve been out on long walks through the gardens. June and July have the best weather in the whole year (except for February and April).
Hey everyone! Looking for something to watch on TV that’s fun and entertaining? Well, look no further! Here’s my personal list of favourite TV shows and movie series for fans of YA books, for tweens and teens and for anyone who’s confused as to what to watch!
Between the ages of 12 and 14, there seem to be very few options for us tweenagers on Disney+ and Netflix. Everything seems to be too young and schmaltzy or too inappropriate! Today’s (rather long) post will be covering the main four genres I watch: Sitcoms, (my personal fave!) Mystery, Fantasy and Fiction (with magical realism).
Hey everyone! Thank you so much for 200+ followers! It really means a lot! Today is a rather early welcome to June and a discussion of my favourite sibling relationships! Check to see if yours made the list because there are so many amazing fictional siblings. What does make a sibling relationship more realistic in literature and movies? Well, come and find out!

My school beings in June and though my posting schedule might not be as regular as it was during April and May, the posts will be there!
Hey everyone! It has been yet another week in the life of yours truly in the heat of the summer! A week which celebrated many brilliant things, and in which I did an analysis of one of my favourite book series—the Harry Potter series! Summer Diaries is a series I’m doing in my holidays and will chronicle my life over the next two months—what I’ve been reading, what I think about the second wave of the pandemic, and will include with some of my favourite literary quotes!
Hey Everyone! Today is a very fun post, as I’m going to be writing a letter to my future self! And I’ll read it when I’m 18! So this is how it works. I’m going to write a letter right now, and then, on my 18th birthday, (I hope I’ll still be blogging!!) I’ll copy this post into another post, and answer it! I literally can’t wait till I turn 18! I wish my 7-year old self did this for me…
This was an awesome idea inspired by one of What Lexie Loves‘ posts, and go and check out her amazing blog too!
