days past: a may ’21 recap + a sibling analysis

Hey everyone! We just reached 213 followers and I’m absolutely shocked we made it past fifty. This little corner of the internet I started to consolidate my thoughts is becoming something more, and I’m here for it. Today’s post is a (rather early) welcome to June and a discussion of my favourite sibling relationships! Check to see if yours made the list because there are so many amazing fictional siblings. What does make a sibling relationship more realistic in literature and movies? Well, come and find out!

My school beings in June and though my posting schedule might not be as regular as it was during April and May, the posts will be there!

summer diaries #4: a day in the life of a quaran-teen

Hey everyone! This is the last Summer Diaries post this year, so I thought I’d do something special: A Day In My Life, but quarantined!! Every single picture you see in this post is mine (yes, I’m so proud of myself for that) so don’t use them (ask me and you most definitely can 😉

Book Review: Six Of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

Leigh Bardugo, you take that back! How could you break my heart so callously?! So, I finally did it. I finally read Six of Crows, and it is worth the hype and more. With the heart-warming found family trope, the refreshing new world, the fleshed-out realistic characters, it seems to be everything a reader can ask for, but there are a few flaws.

This review is the longest I have ever written, so please do take a quick look, but most importantly, what do you think of Six of Crows? Tell me in the comments, because I thought this was an amazing book.

150+ followers special: reacting to your assumptions

Hey everyone! We (sighs dramatically) are in the midst of a major Covid crisis. But we just reached 150+ followers! (This was originally a 100 follower post, but—all credits to my unmatched procrastination skills—we reached 150 just in time for this post!!)

Thank you all so much for this milestone! I don’t really think of these as followers; more like friends in the blogosphere! Today’s post is the 100 followers special: reacting to your assumptions about me.

Book Reviews: The Grisha Trilogy and The Princess Diaries

Hey everyone! Recently I’ve been a lot more active on Goodreads and been reading a lot more, too. It astounds me every time I see someone so organized with their reading: setting themselves a monthly TBR, having read and reviewed a classic every month, their shelves so organized! Inspired, I put together an extra post (which will pop into your inboxes every once in a while,) and it will have some book reviews!

With the last Summer Diaries scheduled for the Sunday after the next, my summer will be done, just as quickly as it came! It seems only yesterday I was writing the first post.

Books I read and reviewed (click to see the review):

The Grisha Trilogy
The Princess Diaries
